So, the first week in which I’ve had opportunity to cycle in and out every day, has finished. My thighs are somewhat the sorer, and a good long soak in the bath won’t come amiss at some point, but it’s been lovely, and far too long in coming. By some sort of cosmic ordering, this was the week when my annual travelcard expired as well; aside from servicing the bike and the occasional ride in, I’ll be saving up to £94 a month, thank you very much - a large part of the reason for biking in in the first place.
