The Barnsbury rat run this morning, but frustration at every turn caused a slowish time of 40 minutes. Too many lights, too many other cyclists, all added up to a slog. One cyclist in particular: a lady with flailing red coat, not doing anything inoffensive other than riding slowly (nothing wrong with that), but she ended up as a benchmark for how slowly I was progressing - I lost count of the number of times I overtook her after she caught up with me at lights.
Was a good morning for the sartorial cyclist though - my new favourite is a chap in full Clouseau mac and hat, very dapper, riding across Liverpool Road.
